Educating New Jersey with what a thief looks for when stealing a car.

With thefts of high-end vehicles on the rise in New Jersey, the Attorney General and the Office of the Insurance Fraud Prosecutor request a public awareness campaign aimed at educating New Jerseyans and discouraging them from leaving their cars running unattended or unlocked with the key fob inside. The campaign focuses on what a car thief looks for when targeting a vehicle that is an easy steal. Some targets are so obvious it’s as if you put a big neon sign over your car saying, “STEAL ME!” This impactful visual idea reminds drivers to Lock It or Lose It.
